SAT/PSAT Preparation 

Summer SAT classes are offered in our Richardson location each summer. We have two different sessions, each one being 3 weeks long.

Classes are from Monday through Friday, 3 hours each day. In addition, we meet for 5 Saturdays in the fall.

Features of the program are as follows:

    ·         Techniques for answering the questions on the verbal, math, and writing parts of the PSAT and SAT. 

    ·         Over 800 pages in an extensive notebook of math, writing, and vocabulary study materials.

    ·         The Official SAT Study Guide: For the New SAT. (10 SAT tests)

    ·         Five complete College Board practice exams.

location        All classes will be at 850 N. Dorothy Dr., Suite 502,  Richardson, TX 75081

dates             Our program begins in May and ends in October. The course dates are as follows:

                     Pre-testing                   Sat., April 28             9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  

                                                          Sat., May 12              1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.    

                                                          Sat., May 26              9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.         

                                   Students will take a benchmark test on one of these dates. Students should bring

                                                a pencil and a calculator to the test.

                            Summer Classes: Session I                             Monday, June 25 to Friday, July 13 

                                   Students will meet on weekdays Mon. – Fri. for three hours each day. 

                                                   9:00 AM to 12:00 PM         or       1:00 PM to 4:00 PM    

                        or

                            Summer Classes: Session II                             Monday, July 16 to Friday, August 3 

                               Students will meet on weekdays Mon. – Fri. for three hours each day. 

                                                   9:00 AM to 12:00 PM         or       1:00 PM to 4:00 PM    

                            Continued Fall Classes         Five Saturdays from Sept. 8 through October 6 

                                            Students will meet from  9:00 AM to 12:00 PM         or       1:00 PM to 4:00 PM  on these 5 Saturdays.

                              There will be nightly homework assignments in this course. A great deal of studying is necessary to prepare for the SAT/PSAT. Our goal is to help students achieve their best scores, whether it is to assure a place in the university of choice or to score high enough to qualify as a National Merit Scholar. Because much material on the SAT/PSAT is often not taught in the regular classroom, this course presents the best opportunity for students to prepare for these tests and to learn the material they need to know.

cost                The cost of the class is $400, which includes all materials.  Payment, along with enrollment form, should be mailed to Sharon Serrago, Inc., 850 N. Dorothy Dr., Suite 502, Richardson, TX 75081  in order to assure a place. Payment may be made with cash, credit, or check.

 teachers         Ms. Serrago has been helping students raise their SAT/PSAT scores for the past 27 years. Her materials are used in many school districts. Teachers in the summer program are high school AP teachers and college professors who are experienced in teaching students how to raise their SAT scores.
