Sharon Serrago has been helping students raise their SAT and PSAT scores since 1986. She  co-authored the Smith & Dewar study materials that are in place in schools across the nation. Sought after as curriculum designer, workshop presenter, and teacher trainer, Ms. Serrago works with school districts and their teachers to help their students achieve higher scores on these college entrance examinations.

Our goal to to help each student raise his SAT/PSAT scores to the level required for admission to the university of his choice. As more and more people are applying to colleges, competition for available seats is getting greater, and the requirements for admission are becoming much stricter.

Raising SAT scores is not an easy task. Much study is necessary,  but we have the materials that will help the conscientious student toward that end. We have a carefully laid out plan that guides the student in his study and preparation.

Our materials can be used in a concentrated course specifically geared toward preparing students for the SAT and PSAT, or they can be implemented into the regular classroom curriculum so that all disciplines can take a part in preparing the student for these rigorous exams.

Sadly, we have found that much material on the test is often not taught in the regular school classroom. For that reason alone, giving students access to this course is a critical step toward preparing them for college admissions.

In these troubled times, getting financial assistance for continued education becomes of paramount importance. Our top priority is to prepare students for the PSAT and SAT so that they may qualify for scholarship assistance. Hundreds of our students have been named National Merit Scholars and have received monetary awards based upon their PSAT/SAT scores.  Many more have received scholarships by being named a commended student, another recognition based upon PSAT scores.

We can design a program to fit the needs of your school district. We offer a variety of possibilities: summer courses of various durations, semester courses, or implementation of materials into math and language arts classes. In any case, we can train your teachers to use the materials effectively in a classroom setting. While our corporation provides some districts with a complete operation in which we bring in our own teachers to teach the classes, we prefer to use your district teachers for these courses so that you have trained personnel available to continue the program in subsequent years.
